i've taken a break and gone to germany for the weekend to catch up with some old friends. but i'm glad to be home and, starting to work again. like, the hardcore has to begin someday now, right?! whatever it is, i'm sure i won't be putting much here because
a. i don't have time to experiment
b. i don't have time to do the washing up after baking
c. i don't have time to go shopping for my baking stuff
d. i'm not willing to spend the money on the baking stuff. like, i can get a dress instead, no? heehee.
many things have happened since we last met, let me summarise:
- the moot has come and gone, i am proud of myself for doing well
- i have been accepted into bar school in london and will be commencing it in september.
- i have gotten a job interview!
- my (new charles & keith) wallet has been stolen X(
- i've not bought any new dresses or high heels!
- spring is here!
and it is gorgeous! sun's out everyday, no more thick and bulky coats, shorts, maxi dresses, spring dresses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have also been reflecting a lot and finding so much more about myself. like, how my character has changed - and whether i like it - how i've come to see friendships and relationships, and finally i've put even more thought into my future. it all seems very surfaced now; i'm sorry i'm distracted by so much.
i cannot wait to get home to START BAKING HARDCORE again. that used to always take my mind off things. baking skills, please do not leave me :(
made this cake for my classmate cass; she turned 23 last february. she's been a great friend and i thought i'd show her how much i appreciate her. aren't the biscuits a cool touch? actually it's only because the sides were uneven. old trick, hahah, but i used to use rocky sticks or love letters :)
